Jang Joonho is Hyuk So-Chun 's guide who discovered Lee Shi-Woon. His sunbae is Soo-Hoo .

Personality[]
He has a great sense of respect and honor. He therefore doesn't bow before others, when he is told to, but he bows deep when he expresses his respect for the other person.
He is also shown to be the type who would avoid conflicts whenever possible. This however does not apply when he can help others by confronting the danger itself. He is not very interested in the Murim's politics and just follows the orders given to him.

The Beginning of a New Legend in the Murim![]
Stood against Nine Dragons High School gates he sees Lee Shi-Woon. Mentioning its been a while he asks how he is. Shi-Woon asks how he can help him. Jang says he wants to treat him to coffee, asking he if can spare some time. Sat down in a Star Bucks he starts off by thanking him for time he saved Soo-Hoo. As Shi-Woon asks if he's okay Jang reveals of his broken bones in several areas. Revealing the only reason he survived was because a someone stopped Nine Arts and he assumed it was him so why he came to say thanks. Revealing there's a lot of people after him as an intel favor. When Shi-Woon asks why. Jang mentions the Martial Arts Alliance influence isn't what it used to be so it'd be best avoid any involvement in anything dangerous.[1]
Into the Depths of the Sun-Woo Clan's Hellish Training, Shi-Woon!![]
While walking home he notices graffiti writing on the wall next to him claiming "Goo-Moon-Ryong Is A God". When Jae-Shin appears behind him and questions if he’s heading home. Jae-Shin mentions studying before cutting off and noticing the graffiti. Amazed Jae-Shin remarks how it came to their school as well. Jang asks if he knows what it is. Jae-Shin tells him it’s quite famous, as it's S.U.C. Jae-Shin tells him it's a gathering for the schools' big shots and it's causing quite a stir in schools over the country. Asked if hasn't heard they're a group of Goomoonryong's disciples. He thought it some pseudo-religious cult but he heard that nearby schools' big shots are all going to that group. Jang wonders what this is, as the name Goomoonryong is being uttered by a commoner, and wonders if it’s somehow related to Lee Shi-Woon.[2]
S.U.C... a New Power That Defies the Murim World's Order Makes Its Appearance!![]
Alongside Jae-Shin, they attend a fight in the park. Asking why there's are so many people out late. Jae-Shin remarks this isn't an average fight and it looks like everyone is present. Asking if the disciples of Goomoonryong really sent the challenge letter. Jae-Shin confirms it. Thinking about the Goomoonryong they're talking about not being real, something bothers him about it. As the fight begins, he notices the S.U.C. member using a foot technique, and begins to panic. When the S.U.C member reveals his identity, Jang recognizes him and questions what the heck is going on with those guys, and if they’re really disciples of Goomoonryong.[3]
Stood outside Nine Dragons High School, he notices Lee Shi-Woon and greets him. Shi-Woon introduces Kang Sae-Ra , who asks him if he's a Murim-in. She says she's glad a friend of his come and asks him to take care of Shi-Woon and bids them farewell. Leaving the school, he asks him why he came to see him. Jang asks what's his connection to S.U.C, as Shi-Woon doesn't answer him. He mentions they're a hot topic and call themselves the discplees Goomoonryong. Shi-Woon mentions he's only heard about them today and never heard his master say anything about other disciples. As he begins questioning about somone. A hooded figure appears in front of them. Jang mentions he's the one, as he's part of S.U.C and took down his school's big-shot.[4]
As Chang-go threatens Shi-Woon, Jangs asks what he's doing as Shi-Woon isn't a Murim-in now. As Shi-Woon provokes him, he charges towards him and goes to attack. Jang knocks him back and stops the attack. He tells Shi-Woon to run, as they began moving he mentions returning to the school until they are cut. Behind him, Chang-ho says he remembers him and goes to attack, but Jang stops it. He tells Shi-Woon he'll take care of it, until Shi-Woon walks in front of him and says he'll find a way of dealing with it. As Chang-ho approaches Shi-Woon and attacks, he maneuvers around him. Which shocks Jang.[5]
Shocked to see Shi-Woon punch and knock Chang-ho to the floor after avoiding his punch. He questions how he avoid it, knowing he was going to get hit. Shi-Woon tells him to take care and starts running past him down the street. As S.U.C follow him, they drag Jang to the floor in persuit.[6]

Martial Arts: Jang has only been seen engaging in a fight briefly in the series. When Chang-ho ambushes Jang and Shi-Woon, Jang intervenes and protects him. He was shown to be able to keep up with a foot technique and he was able to fight Chang-ho equally.

- Hyuk So-Chun : Starting as an escort for Hyuk So-Chun he witnesses his fighting skills. So-Chun seems to enjoy his presence and uses him as some kind of informant. He holds a great deal of respect for him, as seen when Chang-ho mocked him.
- Lee Shi-Woon: Jang became an ally to Shi-Woon after the latter saved the live of Jang's respected sunbae Soo-Hoo . Jang feels indebted to Lee Shi-Woon. After Shi-Woon's Ki-Center is broken he warned him of people in the Murim targeting him and prevented him from being attacked by Chang-ho, and was prepared to fight him to allow Shi-Woon to escape.
