Seonu Gyul is son of Seonu Soh and father of Seonu So-Seol. He is a former member of the Sun-Woo Clan who sent his daughter away for safety.

He was a person with a great sense of responsibility and pride. He wished to protect pride and honor at all costs. This eventually led him to chose to defend the pride of the clan over his own life.[1]
History[]
Some time ago Gyul would follow his father's footsteps, in becoming Gaju of the Sun-Woo Clan. He was once engaged to Kwon Hae-Jin but soon left her for another woman. It is implied, that he died in battle, defending the Sun-Woo Clan's honor, an action that earned the respect of clan member Jeon Jang-Il.[1]
